History

Organized in 1960 by Raymond H. Fox, Jr. and A.E. (Gene) Drechsler, the firm has accomplished work over a wide area of Oklahoma and North Texas. Offices were maintained in Altus and Ardmore, Oklahoma with engineers and technicians from both offices working closely on most projects until the end of 2006.

Beginning January 1, 2007, full ownership of the Altus office was transferred to A.E. Drechsler.  Steven Fox, P.E. retained full ownership of the Ardmore office, presently operating as Fox Engineering.  On January 2, 2013 the firm name changed to Fox, Drechsler & Brickley, Inc. and we continue to offer a full range of Civil Engineering services.

Association with specialists in specific areas such as electrical, structural, and geotechnical has and will continue to greatly expand the firm’s ability to serve its clients.

We maintain computer models for several area rural water systems and provide on call engineering services for line extensions and system upgrades.  Current projects include new water well construction, water storage improvements, nitrate removal plant pilot study and hydraulic review of new customer applications for our rural water clients.

We provide services including plan review of proposed subdivisions, inspection, right-of-way and third party utility issues, encroachments, and mapping for a variety of purposes.
